
Brown Rice is extremely nutritious, has lots of fiber, tastes great and is very inexpensive. I buy 25 lbs at a time and make sure I use it up within 6 months OR I freeze it, which will make it last much longer. White rice stores much longer but doesn't have all the nutrients and fiber that brown rice has.
Here are some of the ways I eat brown rice: 1) Hot cereal w/ milk, cinnamon and sugar, 2) Burritos 3) Soups 4) Taco Bar
Save the most money by buying it in BULK rather than 1 pound at a time at the grocery store. You can always split 25 lbs. of rice with a friend or two and share the cost.
